Save Healthcare Access for Moms with Hidden Millage

Nearly 40% of low-income expectant mothers in Washtenaw skip prenatal visits because of cost, and a new millage could change that. By adding a modest 25-cent increase to the sales-tax millage, the county can raise enough money to create a safety net for pregnant women who otherwise face financial barriers.
